Orchard House is welcoming our grandparents and grandfriends to see their granddaughters at their home away from home on Friday, May 9.

To help us make sure we're able to spread the word and get invitations and details to everyone, make sure your student's grandparent and grandfriend information is up to date using this form or the FACTS Family Portal.

Here's what you can expect at Grandparents & Grandfriends Day

• School bus shuttle from a nearby parking lot to make travel easier

• A welcome with your granddaughter's homeroom teachers and her class

• Time to eat a packed lunch with your granddaughter and her friends

• A tour of the historic Orchard House Middle School building

We know that many students will not have visitors who are able to come this day— you and your granddaughter will have the opportunity to connect with her friends as well throughout the day as they join you for lunch and your tour.

Parking and Optional Shuttle Service
Orchard House Middle School does not have a parking lot, but there is limited street parking around the school on Allen Avenue, Monument Avenue, and Broad Street. If you would like to use our school bus shuttle service, please park in the front corner of Lowe's parking lot, located closest to Broad Street and Allen Avenue. A map of daytime street parking is included below for your convenience. Look for our OHMS school bus, which will be there beginning at 11:10am. An Orchard House volunteer with a welcome sign will be in the lot to greet you. The first shuttle will leave for school at 11:15, and the second shuttle will leave at 11:30.
