Betsy Podsiadlo

Betsy Podsiadlo is a community producer, educator, and musical artist with a passion for empowering new voices and creating space for exploration of self, society, and our connection to the natural world. She earned her Master of Music in Voice from the Mannes School of Music in New York City and her Bachelor of Music in Voice from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. in 2023 Betsy was named the inaugural Mellon Producing Fellow and through that fellowship produced national and international tours for the opera company Beth Morrison Projects. In addition to her Theatre Arts role at Orchard House, Betsy is an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Randolph-Macon College. Around Richmond Betsy can be found playing with a variety of local bands, teaching choir with City Singers Youth Choir, creating community events to support local artists, and going on adventures with her dog, Otter!
