FOR EXTRAORDINARY GIRLS

Orchard House Middle School Girls playing Lacrosse

We are the Gryphons!

Many OHMS girls and families speak to the powerful impact of our athletics program.

Sports teams are open to all students and do not hold tryouts. This approach encourages healthy risk-taking and an opportunity for girls to explore a new interest.  Students who choose to participate in a sport are expected to make a full commitment and to give their best effort at each practice and game.

Our sports program offers league play for any interested 6th - 8th grader in Field Hockey (fall), Basketball (winter) and Soccer (spring). 5th graders are invited to a club team for each sport to develop their skills in preparation for the league. Coaching, practices, and games are coordinated by our Athletic Director, Rebecca Reyes.

“I think that’s so important at that age just having the opportunity to play and not worrying about how good you are and just literally having fun.”
