The academic year consists of four quarters. The required courses for graduation are listed below. The minimum passing grade is 70/D or P (Passing). A student must have at least a 76/C- average for the year in English, history, mathematics, and science in order to proceed to the next level in that discipline. Eighth graders must pass all year long and quarterly classes in order to graduate. In addition to the required classes listed below, each eighth grade girl is required to lead a final quarter student led conference and deliver an appropriate graduation speech.
